TEJUOSHO, OLUFEMI JOHNSON, (B.Sc., M.Sc., FAEMI, MNES, FAAEP, FAEG, CIPM, MIAHS)
Director, Legal, Governance & Compliance:

Mr. Olufemi Johnson Tejuosho is a seasoned GIS consultant, environmental monitoring specialist, and governance professional whose 28 years of experience in spatial science, international consulting, and project monitoring and evaluation give him the technical rigour and institutional discipline required to lead EPIN's Legal, Governance and Compliance function. His mandate is to ensure that the Institute's governance structures, legal obligations, and compliance frameworks are robust, current, and consistently applied.

He holds a B.Sc. (Honours) in Geography and Planning (1992–1996) and an M.Sc. in Geography with specialisation in Remote Sensing and Hydrology (1998/1999), both from the University of Lagos — an academic foundation that has underpinned a career of continuous technical and professional development. His post-graduate work in Geography at the University of Lagos (2001–2004), combined with international consulting experience at the Abidjan-Lagos Corridor Organisation (ALCO) in Cotonou, Benin (2006–2008), gave him an early and formative exposure to cross-border governance and institutional compliance requirements.

Mr. Tejuosho has been involved in no fewer than 20 major GIS and environmental projects — including Road Network Mapping for LAMATA, landuse mapping for the Niger Delta Environmental Survey, and a GIS-based poverty mapping initiative under the auspices of LOKIPOM. As a Senior GIS Consultant at NITOKS Consultants Limited, Lagos, he has acquired advanced expertise in ArcGIS, ArcInfo, MapInfo, ERDAS Imaging, ER-Mappers, AutoCAD, and Idrisi — a toolkit that positions him as one of the most technically capable members of EPIN's Management Board.

As Director of Legal, Governance and Compliance, Mr. Tejuosho provides the institutional guardrails within which EPIN operates — managing the Institute's legal relationships, ensuring constitutional and regulatory compliance, advising the Governing Council on governance best practice, and maintaining the institutional records and frameworks that underpin EPIN's credibility as a world-class professional body.
