RAHEEM, ADEFOLAYIGA SAHEED (B.A., M.Sc., FEPIN, FAEMI, FAERI)
Director, Communications, Advocacy & External Relations

Mr. Adefolayiga Saheed Raheem is EPIN's communications architect — a seasoned marketing communications and media professional whose mastery of strategic messaging, public advocacy, and stakeholder engagement makes him ideally equipped to project EPIN's voice with confidence, authority, and impact across Nigeria and beyond. As Director of Communications, Advocacy and External Relations, he is the custodian of the Institute's public image and the chief architect of its engagement with the media, government, industry, and civil society.

He holds a B.A. in English Language from the University of Lagos (1997), a Post-Graduate Diploma in Mass Communications from the University of Lagos (2012), and an M.Sc. in Mass Communications, also from the University of Lagos (2015) — a progression that reflects both academic discipline and a practitioner's commitment to deepening his expertise in communications science.

Mr. Raheem's professional career began as a Trainee Advertising Executive at Adwork Advertising during his NYSC service year, before progressing through senior roles as Client Service/Media Executive at the same firm. He subsequently served as Senior Client Services Manager at Prime Margin Communications, Manager/Associate at Almark Media Limited, and most recently as General Manager at Glo Construction Limited — a career arc that demonstrates both communicative excellence and broad-based managerial capability.

As Director of Communications, Advocacy and External Relations, Mr. Raheem leads EPIN's media strategy, manages institutional communications, coordinates advocacy campaigns on environmental policy issues, and manages the Institute's strategic external relationships — ensuring that EPIN's voice is heard clearly and credibly in the corridors of power, in the marketplace, and in the communities its members serve.
