MS. ENEANWAN DAVID UDOBIA (B.Sc.(Ed), MILR, FEPIN, FAEMI, FAERI, FAAEP),
Director, Training & Capacity Development
Ms. Eneanwan David-Udobia leads EPIN's Training and Capacity Development function with a practitioner's understanding of how great professionals are built — through structured learning, mentoring, and sustained institutional support. Her 29 years of experience spanning biodiversity conservation, human resources management, and environmental education give her the depth to design capacity development programmes that are both technically relevant and professionally transformative.
She holds a B.Sc. (Education) in Biology from the University of Lagos (1997) and a Master's Degree in Industrial and Labour Relations (MILR) from the same institution (2004) — a qualification that equips her to manage the complex human capital dynamics inherent in professional training and development at scale. Her computing certifications from the Federal College of Education (Technical), Akoka, further underscore her commitment to applied professional development.
Having begun her career as an NYSC Lecturer, Ms. David-Udobia progressed through roles in educational administration and human resources management before joining the Pan African Environmental Research Initiative (PAN AFREI) as Human Resources and Clients Services Manager (2005–2011). She currently serves concurrently as Executive Director of Sustiglobal Resources Limited, where she continues to shape human capital strategies in the sustainability consulting space.
As Director of Training and Capacity Development, Ms. David-Udobia designs and delivers EPIN's suite of in-house professional development programmes, oversees the Institute's accredited training provider relationships, manages curriculum development, and administers executive education and coaching services. Under her direction, EPIN's training portfolio is continuously refined to meet the evolving competence needs of Nigeria's environmental practice community.
